Step 2. Power down the device and then upon reboot put the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 into download mode.
Step 3. Make sure you are logged in as administrator and run ODIN.
Step 4. Connect the Galaxy Note 2 to the computer using the USB cable it came with. You will know ODIN has picked up your device is you see the word “added” appear in ODIN’s message box.
