How to install Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread On Samsung Galaxy 5 GT-I5503:
Step 1. Download the following package that comes with both ODIN and Google apps packages inside.
Step 2. Extract the file and place it on your desktop.
Step 3. Connect the Samsung Gt-I5503 to the PC with the USB cable that came wit hthe device.
Step 4. Copy the update-cm-7.1.0-RC1-MADTEAM-v1.6-signed.zip to the GT-I5503.
Step 5. Power down the Gt-I5503 and boot it up into download mode.
Step 6. Click on “OPS Tab” and select the “EUROPA.ops file. Check the one-package boxes, then in the One package tab select the “ClockworkMod-Galaxy5-v0.4.tar” file.
Step 7. Once you are satisfied with that press the start button to begin the installation procedure.
Step 8. Once that is done you can expect your device to go int orecovery mode. This is good. From here we want to wipe all caches. Do this by selecting “wipe cache partition” and “wipe date/ factory reset”. Then go into advanced and select “Wipe Dalvik Cache”.
Step 9. Go back to the main recovery screen and select reboot system. Upon reboot your device will now have the Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread firmware installed on the Samsung Galaxy 5 GT-I5503.
