The ActiveDock Cydia tweak has been developed by popular tweak artists Filippo Bigarella and Surenix and is now available to be downloaded from the Cydia store. If you haven’t heard of the names before you might have heard of the popular tweak called Springtomize 2. Well, that’s them and if you are into OS X — in particular the functionality — then you will love this new Cydia tweak called ActiveDock.
So what’s the difference between the original dock and a Mac OS X doc? The Mac OS X doc has small white writing underneath the image of the icons that are on display. These lovely bits of white literature are there to label what the icon is. Directly under the white writing is a white light. This white light is displayed keep you alerted as to what is running and what isn’t. If something isn’t running there will be no white light. A very simple, yet very effective tweak that many are going to love.

That is the beauty of Cydia tweaks. tweaks don’t come as entirely new things like apps do, they just make adjusts to already existing things on your devices. The device is made with only one way of thinking, but naturally people are different. This is where tweaks come into play. With tweaks you are able to customize your devices to have them exactly how you want them. A lot of the time it can be with just simple things like appearance. Other times it can be with the way the device functions. The ActiveDock Cydia tweak being a great example of the latter.
As I mentioned previously, the ActiveDock Cydia Tweak was only announced the other day, but it is already out on the Cydia store via the BigBoss repo to be purchased right now. You can pick up your ActiveDock Cydia tweak for $1.99.
