Some iPhone users who are attempting to restore the stock or custom firmware are recieving an error code 3194 from iTunes. The error message reads “The iPhone could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (3194)”. There is a couple of ways around this issue. Currently, there is no registry cleaner to fix error 3194 tools or anything of that nature. However, we can still solve this problem by doing one of the following tricks. If you have a jailbroken iPhone, go ahead and download TinyUmbrella. There has recently been a TinyUmbrella released for the latest iOS 6.1.4 also, so it should not ...

OK, I’ll admit it, I have a bit of a crush on advertising. Luckily, though, Apple are around to satisfy my cravings. Just this year Apple has brought out a range of new advertisements The first of which we documented back in February for the iPad and the iPad Mini called “Alive” and “Together”. The next Apple ads aired within a couple of weeks later at the night of the Oscars. Again it was an iPad advertisment. Not only was it another iPad ad, but it also had very much the same theme as the other ads and it was quickly ...

If you are into geeky stuff, you might enjoy using terminal rather than any other way. The classic retro feel it has and it’s natural way to quickly and easily type in commands to get jobs done simply is hard to beat. An operating system that is known for the command line more so than any other would have to be Linux. If you use Linux, there’s a good chance you have had a go using terminal. This terminal has a program which can be used to download files and folders called Wget. Thankfully, there is a way to get ...

For companies, being able to keep things behind closed doors is turning into a thing of the past. Ironically it is this technology that these companies make, that is making it so hard in doing so. No matter what consequence you decide to hand over — even if it is firing them — it is proving almost impossible to stop at least one person out of the bunch taking a secret photo of a future product which they are not allowed. For us, however, this quickly becomes a juicy image we can’t wait to see. They have a high demand around the web from ...

The battery life of the iPhone has always been a proverbial thorn in the side for Apple, its one of those problems they just can’t seem to stamp out and once again the problem seems to have reared its ugly head. Since the release of iOS 6.1 in January this year, an increasing number of users have reported a rapid demise in the battery life of their iPhones. After an overwhelming number of complaints, in particular from users of the iPhone 4S, Apple has provided a solution. The release of iOS 6.1.2 made headlines for its ability to fix a glitch with ...

Same song, different words on the screen as Apple unleashes its latest TV advertisement promoting the iPad. The theme in this new iPad ad is Hollywood, and for this reason, it made perfect sense to let it out of the bag at the Oscars in Hollywood the other evening, which they did. The Oscars is a great place for Apple to advertise the iPad or any other iDevice for that matter – mainly because technology is widely used (understandably) in the entertainment industry – especially when you stop and think about the computers that are used for editing and all other things a like ...

The release of iTunes 11 late last year was huge for Mac and Windows. It was way past due for a complete revamp and it got it. The new UI took users time to adapt, but after they did it was mainly met with very positive responses. It must be said that the complete revamped UI came with very little faults which is amazing considering the changes involved. As usual though, nothing released is ever perfect and it wasn’t long until we saw the iTunes 11.1 update roll out. This update fixed various bugs but it was rushed out due to ...

I spent most of my life ignoring ads. Ads were simply a time to get up and grab a bite to eat. As I got older my ignorance slowly began to fold and my mind started absorbing what was actually happening here, and just how much money was in the game. Then came being a young adult and falling in love with the web – in particular – websites. When I jumped into the website game I soon realized there was money in it and the way to achieve revenue was through advertising and sponsors. I get views and people want their ...
We all know how popular the Apple iPhone is. There was a time when a smart phone just meant an iPhone. When the only mobile device you would see in a movie was an iPhone. In recent times the general knowledge has stretched somewhat further with many now understanding the power house that Android is fast becoming. Some plucked off the street will even be able to tell you that Android actually has more units out there than iPhone does. What they won’t be able to tell you is just how much Android is predicted to dominate over iPhone and ...

DNS caches are entries that copy the internet domain names over to the IP addresses. A domain name system (DNS) has caching on the internet servers and also the client servers. Sometimes these caches can become cluttered and corrupted. If you think your computer may need a DNS cache clean then you can peform what is known as a DNS flash. Read on to see how flushing a DNS cache is done for Microsoft, Apple and Linux systems. On the 4th of January, world renowned iOS hacker Pod2g took to twitter to start a “we want an open iOS” hash tag trending twitter in a bid to get Apples attention. During his set of tweets he told the world that he predicts Apple will open iOS this year during 2013. With a lot of his friends already packing up and leaving Apple, and heading for Android, he stated Apple would have to react. It’s sounds legit enough until you take a look at Apple’s actual iPhone figures that were released just a few days ago. The records show that Apple still ...
